I haven't been there in a while.I vaguely liked the paharmaceutical inspired stuff but i generally consider him to be substancially irrelevant.That restaurant in Nothing Hill was high naffness!

I quite like the animals in formaldehyde and wish I had actually seen them in the flesh. But I think I'd mainly be getting museum type curiosity out of it rather than liking it as a piece of art. I saw one of his things in a gallery which I thought was shit. It was a bunch of pills in a mirrored case... The big blocks of wax by Joesph Beuys in the next room were much more impressive and I had mucho fun trying to scrape a chunk of wax off while the attendant had his back turned.
Anyway, back on topic. I think a genuine compliment is when it is sincere and arse kissing is when it is with an ulterior motive. |

the thing at the moment is made of amout 10 zillion flies stuck together with tar it is gruesome and sickening, but also brilliant
