i was 8 or 9 and i had just seen Stand By Me in the theater when it first came out. i went and bought the soundtrack on vinyl the next day.

i would use my blank tapes to record stuff off the radio. i had a limp bizkit/jay-z/blink182 mix that'd make yr mom's panties melt

I'm pretty sure it was "Oh, No! It's Devo!"
It was their new album at the time, which I believe was 1982.
I bought it after seeing them do a cameo on "Square Pegs."
One of the only bands I liked when I was 12 that I still like today.

I liked "Ode to Centipede" and "The Defender".

have you seen those games? they look awesome. they don't even need plastic on the screen to make the aliens change colors.
