well, the book opens with his death.

although I'm only through with a little bit, the book appears to be more about the strange secret life that he left behind (and his death exposed).

I argue with his black fascinations, his theories are sound (and not unlike my own).

the only difference between magic and science is one's perceived level of understanding in the subject. I say perceived because, finite minds can never truly encapsulate the infinite (and that very well could have killed him).
