When I was on MP3.com back in the day, there was this plan where everyone that downloaded your music would enable you to get money. (they sorta have that on last.fm now, too, though I think you don't get to actually pocket the money, you just use it to purchase "ad space" and other shit on the site) So, I made a band called MP3.COM SUCKS, and I ended up getting $323 in a few months, and was the top of every artist chart and so on, until they finally banned my account. When I got that check in the mail -- keep in mind, I was 13 years old! -- it was just wonderful. Anyway, not only was the band called MP3.COM SUCKS, all the songs had celebrities in the title.. "FUCK TORI AMOS WITH A KNIFE", stuff like that. Anyway, I got popular really quickly and it was fun but it pissed them off and I was banned and so on.
Moral of the story? Well, there is none.
But I can see THURSTON MOORE IS A FAGGOT gaining some popularity and laughs but probably just pissing off people without a sense of humor. Thurston himself would probably laugh.
