me66's here http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories

I use large diaphragm rodes in my studio, and i am starting to see more and more rode mics show up on professional stages when i am doing floor sound and monitors. and i have used their nt5 pencil condensers a few times for overheads including on some aria award winning bands in australia so they are not too shabby.

yeah, i've bought shotgun rodes before (for a class i taught) and they are a great bang for the buck. i wasn't aware of their large condenser models but i'l check them out.

my current boom mics are a panny camera mic that does double duty (it's a bit small for a boom but i manage) and the sony i mentioned is on a free loan basis-- i forget the model-- it's decent, not great. then i have a long audio-technica shotgun which was my first mic ever and it's meh-- i should put it on ebay.

my current studio mic is an AT2020 which came free when i bought a digirack 003. it's not great, but it gets the job done for now and it was free/worked into the price so it's great ha ha.

i'll check out all of those you mention and put them in my want-to list. realistically, i probably would get a k6/me66 before the mkh60... $$$! (like 3 times more). not sure of the au$/us$ exchange rate... vs. the euro-produced mic = rising prices
