has anyone else purchased this app?
it's called Bloom and I've spent hours and hours with it.
it's billed as being "part instrument, part composition and part artwork".
basically, you tap out a few tones on the screen and then the app loops it. after you stop tapping, the app will then "evolve" the tones you've created into a new piece of music.
it's total fucking genius and worth the price of the iPhone alone.
after posting this, I see that there's an even newer app called
Trope that is the same concept, but apparently "darker". it's $4 but I must fucking have it.
