My experience of Scottish people (albeit one based solely only those living in England) has forced me to conclude that i really don't have much time for a people that have quite depressingly managed to turn England-bashing into a kind of heritage industry. I'm sure not all Scottish people are like this but I've got better things to do than look for the exception. I'll never dismiss a Scottish person simply for being Scottish but once the sly little remarks kick in I tend to just shrug my shoulders and leave them to it.
