Not where I live. The last spider I saw that wasn't a tiny house spider was a funnel web in my sister's shoe. She put it on then screamed when she felt it. Luckily it didn't bite her, they're the most dangerous spider in these parts.

I have about a million spiders in my house.
When I was younger we named a Huntsman spider Norman.
And I kept a Wolf spider as a pet (for a yr4 project) and it had like a million spider babies and every time me and my partner opened it about 40 babies ran out.
