Not Control, but a real documentary?
Even though Control focused a LOT on Ian Curtis' love triangle, and COULD have made a person want to grab him by the shoulders and shake his sad eyes off his face and tell him to pick a girl and get on with it, it really did well at making it out to be more than that. That whoever this Control Ian Curtis is, he is at a point in his life where there is a perfect draw between experience and the sure thing, and freedom, openness, and the unknowable future. And feeling undeserving of both. To be so stuck that you could explode. Thats what the movie was like.
