My roomate freshman year was from glendale. man that kid sucked. he was a self described "goth punk". My first impression was, "Well, I don't know what kind of fucking idiot describes themselves as a goth punk, but at least he might have some cool Cabaret Voltaire records I can burn". Then I find out his favorite bands are the Offspring, the Foo Fighters, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. That kid was useless.
