I didn't read your post before I posted mine, Manga, or I would have been a little more respectful about this. I am also truly sorry to hear this.
I often suspected that many friends and families of 9-11 victims must feel as you do. It's very crass how politicians and the media use the tragedy of the personal losses from that day to bolster their own agendas.
