i used to live in the house where my grandmother died. actually i slept in her room. during the years, all of the smaller things she owned and i had kept, just diappeared. i mean things like hair clips, combs, small bottles of perfume, earrings... i never saw them again, not even when i moved and packed or sorted out everything in the room. also, stuff would move around the room (if i put a stuffed animal on the table and went to the bathroom, it would be on my bed when i got back)
the scariest experience was with a few friends, i was eleven years old then. we had stayed at a friend's house for the night, it had been storming all night, but the weather was good in the morning and we decided to go play in the woods next to her house. there was an abandoned little house there, all the windows were broken and it was an incredible mess... when we went in, the first thing we noticed was that there was no water anywhere, even though every window was open and the forest was still dripping from the rain. there were torn up papers dating from the fifties in there, completely dry. all the furniture was kicked over and there was a huge pile of clothes in a corner. the dog we had with us didn't want to come in, so we went away again, but then a friend remembered she had seen a nice mirror in there and asked me to go and get it. i took the dog with me, but he still didn't want to go in. when i wanted to take the mirror, something fell over on the first floor or the attic, the dog started to bark and howl like crazy and i ran :P she never got her mirror.
