my 2 cents for Trasher: if someone lacks the balls to simply say out loud "look, i don't think i wanna stay with you anymore, i think i'm gonna go with someone else" and come clean, well this person doesn't deserve a single second of my time.
and i'm quit sure she didn't deserve your time + attention either. so enjoy your life man, i really think there's no need to feel sad over that kind of persons.
