I've never really used garageband. I absolutely hate cubase et al, sibelius I like. Actually, I realise the reason I say that has more to do with the other things I had to do in those pieces of work in which I had to compose, recording live parts etc. Had to do some for my A levels (if that means anything to you, I suppose it won't if you're not British) The composing itself was ok, so I retract my previous statement.

What are mallet exercises? What do you play?
