"Bar Bands," as in jobbers-playing-crappy-electric-blooze-music bands, are awful, and deserve to be replaced by a jukebox. I really don't need to hear yet another hackneyed version of "Train Kept A-Rollin" or "I Got My Mojo Workin." No one does.
And there is no bar I know of that has live music playing every single moment of the hours they are open. Some bars don't have live music at all.
That being said, I really don't go to bars unless I'm seeing some live music. Hanging out isn't really my bag.
