Well several of the men we call the "founding fathers" weren't Christians at all. Many of them were actually Deists, such as our third president Thomas Jefferson, as noted above. That's why I get so annoyed when people in this country claim it was founded on Christian values. People who make those kind of claims sadly don't know much about the history of their own country.
