For what it's (not) worth, I can't stand American punk and think British punk is predominantly shit.
It's all about post-punk. Well, actually, it's not, that's shit aswell.
It's all about Bauhaus. There. I said it. Goth music is better than Punk. Well, ok, it's not, but at leasts it's silly rather than retrogressive bollocks masquerading as resistence (So of course Green Day are punk, they're the punkest of them all...)
