I LOVE to talk music. it's my favorite thing to do, however on the internet it's a different story.

there are so many bands these days that people no longer have all the same likes and dislikes. for the most part this is a good thing, but looking back toward high school, I can't recall ever getting into the same "oh yeah, well YOU suck" type conversations that I can get on a message board while discussing music. there's just very little homogeny of musical tastes anymore.

"sell out" is just an easy cheap-shot that people use when they can't formulate chains of words involving more than one syllable (although it certainly CAN BE applicable).
