Yeah I always hear about school closings in the states when there's about an inch or so of snow. Here, we can have a good foot of snow without. Sometimes it can be reeallllyyy icy though, and we cancel. If there's snow and freezing rain together, sometimes it's nearly impossible for me to walk up the hill to my bus stop, and I can't take the car because that's even more dangerous, so I stay home.
