Yeh we get it, kurt hates commercialism, kurt is also dead and this movie is still happening.

Yeah, Requiem for a Dream was fantastic. But then again, it was just an all around fantastic movie. A lot of people could have replaced Leto in that movie and gotten a better performance. Not to say he wasn't good, but everyone in that movie was good.

Also, his role in American Psycho, while important, is short lived and his acting skills aren't exactly on display there. Besides, my gripe isn't about his acting but rather his musical integrity. If he makes such shit music, he shouldn't play Kurt Cobain. Simple as that. He can play Scott Stapp from Creed. I wouldn't give a shit then (besides the obvious fact that a Creed movie would blow big donkey dong). But the point is that a Creed movie would fit Leto's crummy music stylings more than Nirvana, one of the greatest and important bands of the last 20 years.
