Blame "Lost in Translation", any actor or actress that gets caught singing in a movie or does one song on the soundtrack to one of thier movies, some dumbass producer goes "They can sing! Let's have them record an entire album!" They did that with Lindsay Lohan too, she intially sang one song of the soundtrack to "Freak Friday" I think it was and that's how she got to do an entire album.
