Kerry also infamously referred to Lambeau field as "Lambert" field in an appearance in Green Bay while on the campaign trail.

I'm an NFL fan, but none of this bothered me all that much. He would have made a much better president than Bush repeating.

Also, as much as Bob Dole was a doddering old man, he would have been better than Clinton repeating. The only good things that Slick Willie ever did is push for state lottery programs to fund college scholarships and back a balanced budget amendment. The unprecedented economic prosperity we experienced during his two-term tenure was mainly due to an IT boom that was bound to go bust sooner or later. As anyone with a brain can tell, I'm not exclusively a party-line voter. Gore was an idiot to run with Lieberman & he never should have allowed his wife to have any say with the stupider-than-mud PMRC records ratings hearings. That shit (along with Nader) cost him just enough votes to make him lose.

The American people and their devil-may-care, lackadaisical, heartbreakingly easily manipulated attitude towards politics has chosen the wrong man for the job of President for over a generation now and ever since the Reagan/Mondale election. The exception to this being the Bush, Sr./Clinton race where we chose correctly simply because Bill was perhaps the lesser of the two evils. What we have gotten in return as public service from all these treasonous jerks that we've elected only serves us right for being such sheep that long to be controlled, used & abused. Maybe some bright day Viagra for the brain can be invented, but what it will actually take for America to wake up is suffering...long, protracted, agonizing suffering. We're just too damn ignorant to respond to much else. And guess what? Lucky for us, there's loads of just such suffering coming down the pike and on the way.
