Just for clarity's sake: there are other albums (bb&c's The Veil, Parkins/Cline/Moore's Live At Easthampton Town Hall, Retribution Gospel Choir's 3, MANY more...) in which you'll hear Nels annihilating the universe in a way that's relatively absent (not to you neighbors, though ) from the two I mentioned, BUT I wanted to recommend some really Nels Cline albums, you dig?

Other favorites of mine include Interstellar Space Revisited (he and Gregg Bendian play the John Coltrane/Rashied Ali duets), Lovers (big band, strings, the works), and of course Carla Bozulich's Red Headed Stranger (an unbelievable interpretation of Willie Nelson's classic album).
