Funeral Parade of Roses
1969 Toshio Matsumoto movie - the guy mostly directed short movies.
Visually brilliant, fluent even though it picks here and there, a real beauty.
Those who've seen both A Clockwork Orange and this film will agree on that: Kubrick saw the Japanese movie and helped himself twice (even though the atmosphere differs).
A plot kinda pops up during the movie, but it is not that necessary. If you read wikipedia you'll be mislead, as it narrows it down to one tiny element, forgetting atmophere, styles, a great black and white and so many other surprises.
