and just finished the last lunchtime installment of this classic

 


yes yes—at times, so fucking ponderous! i guess it must have been a huge thing to greet star trek again in 1979 after more than a decade off the air. and the whole slow moving spectacle of the musical space tour must reflect that—which is lost to our perspective of everything on the web all at once.

but still, while not a great movie, a good star trek film—true to the roots and philosophy of the original series. the real deal. will watch again.
