You set a movie in an era when people used the N-word and other racial slurs in their casual vernacular, and, what are you gonna do? Pretend those words weren’t part of everyday speech?
Tarantino is not the only filmmaker by a long shot to do this.
He’s one of the few white filmmakers to do it with movies about white peoples set in the fucking ‘90s though.
