I actually liked GYBE when I saw them. It was very majestic and impressive.
...until they started berating a sympathetic audience at a sold out show about the actions of a president that most likely less than 2 percent of that audience had voted for.
They are one of those bands that I wish I had never read an interview with. Makes it easier to make fun of them.
Sigur Ros are perfectly respectable, just a little too sweet for my taste.
Neither one of these bands "suck." They just have a little too much of certain aspects for me to handle personally, that's all.
