And it’s true that I have no experience with the culture, so I can only offer a one-sided opinion on it all. Even though that opinion is that it’s gross and horrifying and inexcusable.

I dunno. It's tabloids. That's their way of writing as moronic as it is. Fact is, there's such thing as unbiased media. Some are just better at hiding it than others.
The Daily Mail here is the perfect example of a paper trying act high class when it's nothing more than gutter press.
