It's not weird at all. There's a million kawazillion facts about Trump, all on the public record, which would destroy any other candidacy. But shit only gets "big" when it jumps from the real investigative journalism to, well, TV, and both over-the-air and cable/satellite news channels have proven to be fundamentally incapable of dealing with this motherfucker. That's why the Machado "feud" gets attention (for now, anyway) while actual Drumpf crimes that would land him in Rikers Island barely exist to the general mookdom.
