Yeah, I understand that. But I couldn't stop listening to NB, and I've been a fan since I first saw them in like 02 or 03. The Suburbs doesn't grab you on first listen, but if you let the songs sink in, you'll find it's every bit as infectious and tearjerking as Funeral.

Give it a shot. They deserved to publicly own Lady Gaga and Eminem in front of a nation of people who had no idea who they were. Suburbs is a little too "easy" to be an all-time favorite of mine, but it is pretty much perfect. And in retrospect, so are the rest of their records.

If they are the next U2, then I suppose Suburbs was their Unforgettable Fire. Next would come Joshua Tree and awfulness. Let's hope that doesn't happen.
