Have you tried out any of Waters' other films? Nearly every single one is a classic in it's own right. I personally recommend Desperate Living, Polyester, Female Trouble, Cry Baby, Mondo Trasho, Serial Mom, Cecil B. Demented, A Dirty Shame, and Pecker.
I haven't seen Naked or Posession so it's hard for me to recommend anything based off of those.

It's very tasteful. Cronenberg realized it'd be near-impossible to make a film version of Naked Lunch, and chose to focus the film rather on Burroughs writing the novel instead.
Very cool stuff. One of his best.
