especially when other people are walking around in front of you with these phones, clothes, holidays and shoes in front of you every day and giving you that patronising/ifeelsorryforyou look (not saying that's the case).
i understand this woman's frustration. this could be something important. she thinks this could have turned out to be a good opportunity to deal with some issues. but now it's just giving people more room to look down on these kids. unfortunately, the average person doesn't bother with anything more than general assumptions - the future will be more water cannons.
lack of prospect is something that can drive anybody insane tho, mix that with natural youth rebellion and a culture of violence, it's not gonna stop here.
