does "scenes from a marriage" count as a "movie" or a "tv series"?

whatever the case (it's really a theatre play maybe longer than peer gynt), it was great to watch. in the end, it seems to offer the curious thesis (very 70s) that it's marriage as an institution what kept these people from loving each other as they should

almost 40 years later though it seems as if the problem was not marriage itself but the fact that they let themselves be dictated into roles by "the invisible hand". ha ha ha.
