While humor is an incredibly important thing for certain types of music to survive,i totally think that it is wrong when it becomes the main attraction to the music itself.It works only when not the artist nor the music want to be taken seriously,yes,but the same can't be said for Zappa himself.Really,some artists you wonder why they bothered and how they survived with such a one trick pony of a half idea.To conclude:
Humor and music=fine
Comedy and music=Not fine
