Well, thankfully they are often able to figure out where these mines are located before they step on them, thanks in some part to non-lazy military personnel. Fact....military has pushed technology forward quite possibly more than any other field.
Above statement is in no way to be interpreted as how I do, or not feel about this current war. Still, I'm thankful for the military. But then again, I don't live in some fantasy world either.
