I know, bible thumpers on Skid Row once brought up Hitler to me thinking I would be happy to send him to hell as an example of why they were against universalism. They asked me, "So Hitler should go to heaven then?" I always replied, "I wouldn't want to get into a Heaven where ANYONE, including Hitler himself, were denied the same opportunity." Hitler is vehicle to vehemently express self-righteousness, be it political or religious.
