in very large/habitual quantities it's been found to damage the liver, but that's more from the shit they add to it than from the kava itself

I asked about this at the local head shop and they said to try Krotam instead. They were out at that moment so it must be good. When they get in stock I am going to purchase some and give it a try. I will say that this stuff really works and it is totallt legal in most states
