i know this sounds absurd buttake a deep breath and try to enjoy yourself--when you enjoy yourself your audience enjoys too even if all is not perfect. forget perfectionism and just relax and you'll be ok.

Good luck with that Slavo. Ugh a drag school started again. I'll be on Gossip all day today, especially since my 4 hour class was cut short to an hour. I hate presentations too, and I'm always too shy to go up.

Most of the musicians I know eat bananas when they are nervous before performing. I don't know if it works (seems to), but I've been doing it for a long time. Might be just a placebo effect type thing, but I've eaten them for presentations too.

Well, I mean actual bananas, the yellow phallic fruit. I usually eat one right before performing--it's a ritual more than anything, I suppose.





I've heard people say it's the potassium, but I'm not so sure about that. It's probably just the calming effect of peeling the fruit and the act of masticating the soft flesh probably brings back memories of being fed bananas as a little kid, peanut butter and banana sandwiches and whatnot.

I feel embarassed now.
