are there any general topic within music fan forums
That are still being used on the internet?
Or any general forum that has a diverse age group of users? |
Whassamaddaaa Non-Sonics not good enough for you? Elitist !!
|
iFace and MyBook fucked up the internet for everybody.
I've given up on my long-standing ban on that brand of social media as there's simply nothing else out there. |
efestivals used to have a very wide range of users.
Crusties from the Peace Convoy, "hippies" from glastonbury, ravers from Glade, townfolks from Vfestival and rockers from Reading http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/forum/6-discussions/ haven't been on there for years as it was getting a bit dry but i pop back every now and then why? what are you trying to sell? |

your suggestion make me think of trying, ePlaya, the online Burning Man community, but I'm not sure I want to risk hating Burning Man for it. Thanks for your suggestion, though. It helps. |
every forum i've ever read is slowing down a lot. the only semi busy is music related but it doesn't have a very diverse age group.
|
Terminal Boredom had some good non-music related banter on it. Haven't been there in ages though.
|
I occasionally visited ihatemusic and termbo when I still was somewhat interested in finding new music but these days I rarely bother with any music talk.
|
Music talk on internet forums got a little too overwhelming and pointless for me. Not that I ever contributed much of real interest to them, mind. It's back to the pre-2006 porkmarras days when I was more of a lurker and I did my own thing. I do like reading the Bang the Bore forum though, whenever I can. Some really interesting personalities on it.

http://fangsandarrows.com/ ? i seem to remember it being okay but never got on too much.
supposedly there is a entire internet underworld of forums just for spam! they are too good for us humans. |
