The problem with this is that I guarantee there are loads of gigs going on near you that need people to go and watch them and are really cheap/ free. But you're probably not going to. Big concerts aren't really for people who like music. Certainly you have to question the motives of someone who spends in excess of £20 on a ticket for anything.

If you can possibly imagine how expensive some things are in London (transport and rent are outrageously pircey), gigs are one of the things that stil keeps me living here, amongst other things. They are cheap and numerous. Average price for the majority of bands I go to see is £5/8 . That is really, really cheap.

I'm so excited that I could poop U.S.SEXMANIAC $'s by the roll.
it's been since Toward the Infinte Beat. G-P shined a light on me and someone stole my t-shirt. |
5/8 units of brithish currency for a concert is reasonable indeed. Here, the gigs I attend cost about the same in EUR. Of course we don't speak of bands like, say, Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo or Boris, which tend to be in the +20 EUR category.

It's the same here for the same bands. |

If you're "confused" enough to want to listen to even a microsecond of Corgan's pathetic whining and piss-awful gtr mithering, then I pity you. Actually, I don't. Fuck it, I hope that corporate genius shills you for all the money you have. |

... and what Buffin says. |
kapitalism lets you choose NOT to overpay for the concert of an irrelevant, washed out band that hasn't made anything interesting in decades. attendees are probably nostalgic gen-xers who now hold corporate jobs and want to "remember the good old days " or some such shit, and are probably attending the concert during the festivities organized around their high-school reunion.

thank you for living in the same thoughts reality london must be very expensive to live or new york too (i think ) i know why the prizes gone up and think like people need 3 jobs to keep their life going rent prizes are seriously an attack on a citicens habitat sleep and living space it's a total dictorship by money what about all the people that have no money i also believe this all makes the peoples sick and that's why there are more suicides, pressure ect just be able to rent it's an insaine reality, there can be no life with high rentprises no life , no fun and that is the ugly reality why go to visit london, if people feel not comfortable with all the high prisez just a dictatorship by the rich the queen will do nothing to stop high rentprizes london is just going to suck as hard as paris or ny totally wierd layers of population youth, old people ONE MESS ONE NEVER ENDING PSYCHOSE |
what i also regret is that millionair bands like the rollin stones never did anything for the youth
like free studio places for young musicians to play or you know something like that the same for the beatles paul maccartney also very rich made terrible art here in belgium the museum did pay him alot of money for SHIT art you know people they get into a museum because of their fame like please stop the shit OK you rich fucks that used to make music 40 years ago do something for poor youth and die |
i dont know who this smash and pumpkins band is but they sound jolly exiting!
as stated above, go see a local show of some noise shit that costs much less. i guarantee it will be more fun. |
i like a different kind of fun
ok in my youth 20 years ago i been to festivals experimented with drug like people on woodstock i don't buy politics, i don't buy religion, i don't buy sex industry & slavery i stay a sober animal now after 20 years after the youth seen the entire planet what for suffering the animal sapian is in it's to halucinating on it self to keep staying a free animal individually most people get sick from drugs, get an ego from here to the mount everest when an animal snorts a line of coke it suddently becomes a GOD pff people really lost their mind and don't get their brainwork done to continue animal life addicts that become prostitues addicts that commit suicide i haven't seen much love on festivals, concert some musicians 'can' be cool that is their life i have my life to life and not some kind of confusion of ape groups that have reached the number of 7 billion i'm glad there is modern information to bring the sapian brain to a calm state of what life is made out from an interesting journey that is what i needed and that is what i individually followd for myself with my free thinking, no one told me what to do or follow yeah, i live absolutly free in my animal brain and body what i don't find is people who can wave on the same frequency so i just stay nice to people , for real, i do my best, to all people and other animals animals are not here for my entertainment and i'm not going to critize the wild youth and stuff there is a long life after the youth and that has more value love the youth and wish them many years of fun and friendship & love |
peace and love to the world
and another new day on earth opens...... FOR YOU |
