Advertising bullshit
I just saw an ad on tv for some new shower gel which contained "micro-moisture molecules". That'll be water, then.
Always suspicious of skin cream containing "Q-10", given it's similarity to "cuten", or to make more cute (admittedly also a made up word), haha. Any other made up marketing nonsense? |
All these ridiciolus Yes commercials or Vannish etc.. (cleaning stuff).
SUPERDUPER CLEAN! ULTRA WHITE! SUPER! TESTED AS THE BEST! c'mon, they all fucking suck and pollute nature. I clean and make dishes with (very hot) water only and it gets exacly as clean. I mean, just look at this fucking logo, it scares me away: ![]() |
heating a lot of water is bad for the environment too, so you cannot win.
my favorite is this one about antibacterial soap "it's been proven that washing with our soap reduces health risks" they just forget to mention it'd be the same with any soap. |
but vanish does work to remove coffee stains from shirts.

I didn't get the difference between the good and the bad cholesterol.

Yeah for shure but compared to producing all the vannish stuff AND the warmed-up water used in the washing machine is way more than just heating up some water  |

I use cold water in my washing machine. |

that pun isyour own invention, but all things are true to the paranoid mind, so yeah, avoid. most commercials are fucking annoying, but there are some fun ones out there. the allstate "mayhem" ones are fucking hilarious. there was an interactive version on hulu for a while that was awesome. (non-'mericans might not know wtf im talking about) |
