those of you who can remember that far back will recall that we had a word game going years ago on the old board, where someone would post a word and the next person would post a bizarre "definition" for it. for instance, for perceive one might put "the night before the biggest shopping day in history" (purse-eve, get it?). i'd love to revive that. so i'll start. first word:
