Here be the thread for you to post your fave characters from the Hanna-Barbera stable cartoons.

I'll start with some obscure ones, cos I is like that.

I also love the show Harvey Birdman.

Hair Bear Bunch was a favourite. Oh, and The Funky Phantom. Can't forget Top Cat either.

hanna barbera was meh-- i'm more of a looney tunes man

I was really into it when Yogi got all of the animal characters together in the Flying Ark. That was so fucking over the top. Wally Gator rules.

but i love HB
very much. is rocky and bullwinke theirs?

Hanna Barbera mostly sucks.
There are some exceptions but you have to go to the earliest days of TV and their theatrical shorts like Tom and Jerry.

 

for good cartoons see Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, and Tex Avery (he made MGM cartoons like Hanna Barbera)

my grandmother knew Barbera, but I was never a fan. not enough spaceships.

ergh. HB animation annoys the piss out of me.

Talking of animation - When was the last time that Mickey Mouse or any of the traditional Disney characters were in a full length movie?
It's not a trick question, I honestly don't know.
