It died today, thank (some entity) that it was only the car battery.

yeah, I spent most of Saturday at a car dealership in Dallas getting my thermostat fixed.

good times.

Ah. Now's as good a time as any to learn the bus system. It's not terrible. Worse than most places, but it works. Usually.

I know the bus system by heart. It's ghetto.

I like it. It's is a pretty keep-to-yourself city, so there are very few people trying to strike up conversations.

Mine has pedals.
I still had to spend some cash on a new back wheel last week, but no matter how you slice it I'm better off than when I had to deal with car ownership.
My sympathies to you all. I'm serious, in case I came off like some kind of sanctimonious jackass.
