So, I've been wondering...
Can an Is be derived from an Ought?
Is the reverse possible? Is everything made up of one substance? If so, how do you account for the variety of objects? If not, how do you account for their similarities? Is everything in the process of changing, or is everything stable? If everything is changing, then how can anything Be? If everything is stable, then how do you account for change? What are the qualifications needed for a statement to be considered true? Is anything ever beautiful? If so, account for disagreements over the beauty of an object. Can an idea be beautiful? How? Is our perception of reality accurate? How do you know? Finally, can you please construct a system of morality without using a God figure? |
