The Ever So Scary Horror Film Thread.
I like horror films. You like horror films. Let's have a horror film thread. We can talk about horror films in it.
Here's my overly considered top five horror films, just to get us all started. 1. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Basket Case 3. Dawn of the Dead 4. Maniac 5. Nightmares in a Damaged Brain. I'm loving this thread already! |
what, no exorcist?!
|
Exorcist is not that scary, its ok but its not that good. I thought the Shining was scarier.
|
I'm not generally all that fussed about horror films, but:
1. The Clive Barker one with Pinhead 2. Nightmare on Elm Street 3. Salem's Lot |
Psycho still scares the bejesus out of me.
|
Salem's lot, as blunderbus mentioned, scared the shit out of me the first time i saw it.

Agreed! |
"Last House On The Left". The first time I saw it round demonrail's, I felt truly uncomfortable.
"Combat Shock" - an incredible movie. Check out the fully uncut version, called "American Nightmares" "Salo" - one of Pasolini's finest moments. "Rabid Dogs" - Genuinely an on-edge movie. "Men Behind The Sun" - incredibly racist, but powerful nonetheless. |
Night Of The Living Dead
is one of my faves. I am a chicken shit when it comes to horror movies, residue from childhood I think. |
