what, no exorcist?!

Exorcist is not that scary, its ok but its not that good. I thought the Shining was scarier.

I'm not generally all that fussed about horror films, but:

1. The Clive Barker one with Pinhead
2. Nightmare on Elm Street
3. Salem's Lot

Psycho still scares the bejesus out of me.

Salem's lot, as blunderbus mentioned, scared the shit out of me the first time i saw it.

Great film. Again, more than a little scary.

I laughed when she started crawling down the stairs. Oh the masturbation scene was HILARIOUS.

Isn't that one of the deleted scenes? I presume it's been added to some versions?

"Last House On The Left". The first time I saw it round demonrail's, I felt truly uncomfortable.
"Combat Shock" - an incredible movie. Check out the fully uncut version, called "American Nightmares"
"Salo" - one of Pasolini's finest moments.
"Rabid Dogs" - Genuinely an on-edge movie.
"Men Behind The Sun" - incredibly racist, but powerful nonetheless.
