totally right..... never drink and drive even if you have had just one..... its not worth the risk, the pain, the hurt. there is always a way to get home safely.
man, real sorry to hear about your friend. i have lost a friend in a christmas drunk drive home from a party about 10 years ago. he died 50 meters from his house wrapped around a concrete pillar. its not worth it at all. take care everyone of everyone! |
I feel sorry for your loss crypto.
|
Good thing I live in a city that discourages driving even when you are sober.
|
sorry to hear, mate.
|
Shit crypto, how many people do you know that have sadly passed away in the last year? This is like the 4th thread or something about it.
Sorry to hear it as always, man. |
Ah, crypto, I'm sorry to hear that.
Drinking and driving is the worst combination - and it's even worse that you don't necessarily have to realize that when you're drunk. I have a terrible experience with that back in the days when I spent my summer in Colorado. We had a party or something and then, having drunk a bottle of Jack Daniels I had the idea to drive my friends to the Royal Gorge bridge where we could hang out for a bit. What to say more, I drove too fast and almost fell off the cliff. Luckily I hit the brakes at the last moment but at that moment I promised myself that would be the last time ever sitting at the wheel while drunk. |
that sucks man.
that's why i don't drive and hate cars. yesterday, when we were outside the bar smoking, some dude parked his red mustang while i was talking on my cellphone and he started singing some song about a dark "azabache" horse, in reference to his car and he addressed us saying something like "innit?" and my friend was like "no, 'azabache' means black"; i was laughing so hard i couldn't talk on the phone. dude was probably just a moron and not drunk, though. |
Feelin' for you, crypto.
Take good care. It takes loss to appreciate what we have. |
:( sorry about that
i agree that it's about the dumbest thing you could ever do not only because you put yourself at risk but moreso because you put others at risk. i only ever did it once and i learned my lesson because i backed my car into a tree about 30 seconds after i started it. fortunately i don't drive anymore. |
Sorry to hear of your loss. Not much to add other than what's been said here already. You're obviously absolutely right about not drinking and driving.
|
Drinking and driving really pisses me off. It's just the dumbest thing in the world.
I have been in the car with drunk drivers twice, and both times came very close to dying. Also, don't drive when you're too stoned or fucked on anything else. I know a guy who drives around on mushrooms? EDIT: I'm sorry to hear about your friend's Crypto, that really unfortunate. |

yes. no shit. don't be a moron & kill people. sorry about your friend. |
Sorry to hear about your loss man.
Whenever I go out, I am always the designated driver because I don't drink. |
What are you? My Mother?
|
Sorry to hear that Crypto.
Do you mean "lost" as in "was killed"? Or "arrested and ensared in the legal system"? "In jail"? Or just "lost and I cant' find him." |
Quote:
he means killed. |
I think he would say that he friend is in jail if that was the case.
|
Sorry. I've heard other people use this term only to find out they really meant other things. It gets a little misused these day. "I lost my friend to drugs," i.e., "he's a hopeless druggie," that kind of thing.
Truly sorry for your loss, Crypto. |
