![]() i'm talkng about what i did today. since i didn't have school today, i decided i'd cook enough food to last through a four day week (or most of the way through...) so i got out a huge stew pot and threw in: a liter of chicken stock a 750ml bottle of white bordeaux (poured a glass first) a 355ml bottle of blue moon seasonal brew with kieffer lime half a 355ml bottle of goya mojo criollo browned in butter then threw in: a bunch of chicken gizzards a veal shank a bunch of pork neckbones a pork shoulder steak added: half an onion two shallots a leek juice and peel from a lemon 2 bay leaves a handful of black peppercorns a handful of salt 4 carrots 6 stalks of celery 4 large mushrooms a bunch of cilantro in another pot i boiled water and threw in: a handful of salt and peppercorns half an onion a slab of bacon lima beans black eye peas great northern beans garbanzo beans while i was waiting for all that i fried up some chicken hearts and red onion in butter, served it on rosemary toast. then i dumped some sliced cucumber, carrot, celery, red onions, green onions, and buttermilk ranch in a bowl. lettuce sucks, it shouldn't be part of a salad. all i can say to you vegetarians is ...but bacon tastes good, pork chop tastes good. ...and fuck me if some baby cow don't taste really fucking good. |
