Me and Drummond were minding our own business before the show, we had eaten and were leaving, and as we were walking out Lee and Thurston walked in.

I said, 'Hello good gentlemen; we are very much fans of yours and are filled with positive anticipation about tonight's show.'

The room was silent.

Time seemed to slow down and then stop all together.

Lee struggled to breath. We all did.

It didn't matter.

Then it happened; Thurston spoke.

'Ok'

They continued into the restaurant.

Someone on a nearby table sniggered at us.

I felt my face turn bright red, a sob rose in my throat.

We left, crushed, egos destroyed.
