I like myself as a boss fairly well. I'm tolerant about long lunch hours.

I now work in customer service. YAY!!!

I am officially Technical Support/General Services for a fancy law firm in Houston TX.
That means that I am the maid.
I do mailroom, breakroom, shipping, computers, software support, suppplies, service repairs, etc.
I had my yearly review (been here 8 fucking years. Oh man) yesterday and I "exceeded expectations" on everything. I got a good raise too.

plus we got some pairs here at the law fim that would beat a straight flush.

and by pairs I mean nalgas.

sound engineer in the past 80% of my working time and composing 20%, but this year 80% composing and engineering 20%.

my boss when i'm working as an engineer is awesome, and i am my boss when composing.

damn.

i just work with a bunch of white trash bitches.

i like my thesis chair... aside from the fact that he hasn't paid me yet for the graphic design work i did for him last year.... but that's okay because

a) i haven't given him a paper i was supposed to write over the summer yet...

b) i'm pretty sure he hasn't been paid yet by the city for the project we were working on...

I've been working in IT for a year now. It's moderately well-paid. This isn't a boast - it's only moderately well-paid. The point I'd like to make is that I fucking hate computers - certainly in terms of work - but I've entirely fallen into it. So stop trying and do a bit more falling.

Back to school for me this year though, yay!

I also occasionally do work with a local sound company setting up and tearing down mid- to large-sized concert events, both indoor and outdoor.

man I miss the days of art school. art school girls were always the hottest.
they were slightly to very crazy, which is hot, and they were kooky dressers, which is hot, and they liked weirdo freaks like myself, which is hot. ha!

I gots my Bachelor's in Fine Arts (Studio Art Painting) with a minor in art history, and now I work for lawyers. fuck.
